Serious Discussions Area

I was wondering if perhaps a section for more serious topics such as news related posts, debates, etc. could be added to the general discussion area. So that way, these sort of topics aren't cluttering the general discussion area and so members who may wish not to participate in those topics can easily avoid them. What are your thoughts? (Of course the topics must follow the rules at all times.)

I really do not see a need for a sub-forum for the general discussion section. It covers a wide range of subjects already. I can avoid titles just ny looking at the titles.

I actually like the idea, but SLGray has a point. Maybe put something like [SERIOUS] in the topic heading before it or something like that?

As of now, I don't think so. But definitely in future when, we may organize it in another sub forum where we can have intellectual discussions, debates and such.

I think in the future it would be a good idea. Topics should be free to be posted in the general area for now since the area is lacking topics anyways. Then when it kind of gets "overloaded" make a subforum. Smile
