Organization Suggestion

Hello peeps,

Just a thought and suggestion, would it be possible to sort forums promoted into general categories? This way guests searching for specific types of forums can easier find a list of precisely what they are looking for, as well as entice more people to promote. I did this with the role-playing Genres on my site and it seemed to increase activity, probably because people didn't get stuck searching through a long list of threads.

Example:

* Gaming Forums
* Gaming Discussion Forums
* General Discussion Forums
* Advertising Forums
* Do It Yourself Forums
Ect....

Sample of mine, but of course it could be organized to accommodate your design and taste. Under the Forum titled "Group Roleplays".

That's smart, I'll see what others think. The only problem I think is that people won't visit as many forums this way. If all the new content is split from one area, people will need to navigate through different sections and may not even see it.

Yes, that is true, unless you simplify it to maybe 3 or 4 sections and make the shortcuts eye appealing. Nicely designed photo links for the main sub-forum title might work . It's a pain lol. I have tweaked and experimented for optimization for two yearsn now and still working on it lol.

It's certainly something we should have eventually. I feel we can wait for more promotional topics so that after splitting up it looks neat and non-empty Razz
