What are your opinions on cool text logos? Do you like them?
I personally don't like them. Cool text logos kind of make me think that the logo creator didn't want to put a lot of effort into what they were doing.

If its combined with the power of CSS to make cool effects and animations, I would like it.
But most of the time it depends on the site/forum itself and it's purpose/theme. Sometimes just text works better and sometimes image is essential.

I'd appreciate logos that is obviously done with efforts. However, there are textual logos that I also appreciate due to its simplicity.
