Do you usually watch movies that are based on some type of book? If so, which one happens to be your favorite so far? Are there any movie adaptations that you plan on going to see in the future?

I have watched some movies that were based on books which I had previously read. For example, The Hunger Games, The Divergent series etc.
I was not very fond of the casting for both of those series.

I have watched some of the movies that I've read but not all of them.
My favorite so far is the Harry Potter series. I thought they did pretty well on keeping the movies as close as they could to the books (for the most part).
I plan on going to see Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children when it comes out at the end of September and I'll also go see Fantastic Beasts and where to find them when it comes out in November.
