Pokémon-Gotta Catch 'Em All!

So seeing how there are quite a few fellow Pokémon fans here, I decided to start this topic so we can talk about our favorite games, Pokémon, etc. So I've been a fan since 1999, Yellow version was the very first game I got as a child. I had to give it back to my friend, who thought it was okay for me to have it. I only had it for probably a month or so, but I got Blue version afterwards. I've been hooked ever since! I had at least one main series game from each Generation, and I'm definitely looking forward to Sun & Moon! My favorite generation is Generation 3. I love how natures and secret bases were introduced in this generation, I had a few secret bases and back then it was more difficult to get them unless if you had tons of friends who owned RSE. (And I was 13 when RS were released, so a few of my friends had "grown out of" Pokémon. Thankfully my cousin and best friends were a couple years younger than me so they had copies, but I only had five secret bases from mixing records.) Ruby version was also the first and only Pokémon game I actually caught all the Pokémon, without cheating. I however unfortunately, encountered the Feebas evolution glitch. (And of course Milotic was the last Pokémon I needed to complete my dex!) So my cousin ended up giving me his so I could have a complete Pokédex. Fast forward to today, I had Omega Ruby and Y but someone stole them so I need to replace those games. Anyways my favorite starters from each generation are Bulbasaur, Cyndaquil, Mudkip, Piplup, Oshawott, Froakie, and I'll get Litten in Moon version since I love cats. :3

Hehe things are pretty different here. Pokemon aired here and it suddenly went viral among everyone. In my country, there is no Nintendo officially so you don't have their consoles of games.
But few years later I learned about emulators (my only way to play) and started with Pokemon Sapphire. It was an experience and I loved it because I didn't even know which Pokemon reside in it. Later I played fire red, then few years later I basically played all the games up till B/W2.
I wasn't that crazy of a fan ever to actually import a 3ds from another country but with Sun/Moon coming I'm actually really excited and might get it XD
I always picked Fire starters for some reason and to this day I always do. At least in my first run of the game.
Litten is nice but that owl is very cute XD

I love Pokemon (evident through my avatar). My favourites are Infernape and Greninja. I've played most games since Emerald, and Sinnoh is my favourite region. I'm watching the XY anime, so if anyone has any questions, feel free to ask.

I also love Pokémon, though that should be fairly obvious. My favorite Pokémon would be Salamence or Darkrai. Greninja is pretty cool as well.

I am super excited for Pokemon Sun and moon! I dunno If I really wanna start breeding mons in ORAS -.-

Not a total fan, but I liked the gameplay. I never have had any experiences with playing it on an actual console since we were poverty-stricken way back, but with the use of emulators, I started to play Sapphire. I used Squirtle as my starter since I liked anything blue. I'm planning on going back to the game so I would know the ABCs of it once again.

I might be late to the party lol. Technically first version I played was Pokemon Gold/Silver (don't remember which ) on a GBC of a travelling companion in a train. As RF already said that there are basically no Nintendo in our country so getting consoles are pretty hard. All we had were emulators. So I played Red/Blue till defeating Misty. But in my earlier days I was a noob and didn't know what a HM was so never could go further than that. Years later I started Emerald directly then followed all the main series games. And always I chose Fire starter.

Due to lack of 3DS emulators, I had to purchase a second hand 3DS as I couldn't afford a first hand. Prices are very high here. And then got a flash cart to play X. There I chose Froakie solely because of getting Charmander in later game. Then I got myself a copy of OR (second hand ). And looking forward for Sun/Moon.

Till date I completed National Dex twice. Once in Emerald and then in Omega Ruby. Now currently collecting all the event pokemons ever released. + Sometimes battling in Showdown is fun.

I LOVE Pokemon! Now that Pokemon go has came out, I love it even more now!!! My boyfriend and I like to go walking trying to watch them all. I have a pokestop about a mine away from my house, we walked to it today. Unfortunately, literally right when we got there, his phone died and I lost the hotspot, so I wasn't able to get anything from the pokestop.. :/

I love Go too! It's making me walk and travel so much! Meeting new people is always a plus with it!

Lol exactly. I travel 5 km daily just because of it.

I've been watching Pokémon since season 1 came out here in The Netherlands. The first game i played was Pokémon Yellow. My favorite Pokémon are Nidoqueen, Eevee, Pikachu, Glaceon, Empoleon, Typhlosion, Serperior and some more I can't remember.

I'm also addicted to Pokémon Go.

I should be getting a new phone that can actually play Pokémon go soon, then I'll go out and about searching for all the Pokemon I can find. Hopefully I don't get robbed, I'm sure you've all heard about the robbery that happened in Missouri. (It happened in the town I currently live in, which is supposed to be safe compared to St. Louis and Ferguson, which are roughly about 45 minutes away from here...)

I too like pokemon my first game was silver with my starter being Chikorita i started playing other games as i got older and got my own game boy color after i beat silver i played red and to this day im still playing pokemon games im currently hooked on pokemon go and am level 15
