Are birds weird pets?

So I've never had a bird, nor have I ever wanted one. But my girlfriend just got another one! She has 4 now lol
I think it's cool, but idk... birds seem weird as a pet for me lol

I think they're pretty strange animals myself. My aunt has always had birds as pets, and I think the only reason why is because she lives with my very strict grandmother, and she didn't allow any other pets in the house. I wouldn't be able to get a bird as a pet, my cats would end up eating the bird. :V

The only bird I had as a pet was a duckling. It died when our water heater busted.

They're not my type of pet, but if people like them and it's not affecting anyone in a bad way, I'm not against having birds as pets.

I think they are a pretty weird pet, since they have to be generally caged if you do not clip their wings. And ofcourse you would need to be careful when you release it for a short time, and make sure that no bigger pets go after them.

I don't think a bird would be a weird pet. Birds will typically get really attached to their human owners, unless you get the bird a "mate".
