I am sure many struggle with why they should choose a specific forum host seeing as they all say they are the best. Which one have you found best for you?

For free hosting I really like x10 hosting. The only thing I dislike about it though, is if you're running MyBB you have to wait a few seconds for your new topics to show up on the main board index... I haven't really used paid hosting myself, I once used Host Gator but my website experienced some downtime for a few days so I don't really care for them anymore... :\

I think free hosts are good too. I am currently using a paid host, and I feel like some free hosts I've used in the past are way better.

Hmm, I think you all are a bit confused about what this topic is based on which is Forum Host's such as Forumotion.

I thought it was for general hosting. :V Anyways for forum hosting, I really like Jcink the most honestly. I don't think there's any other free forum host that allow admins to make constant backups of their forums themselves. However I also like Forumotion, since you're actually allowed to make edits to templates unlike other major free forum hosts, such as Freeforumsdotorg. (I know Jcink allows that too. 
) Icyboards is another great free forum host, which also has great support.

So far, I am satisfied with Forumotion. I tried Proboards, but I still go back to Forumotion because it is easy to use, customizable, and the staff is really friendly when attending to your concerns.
