Lots of rules

Are you a forum admin that tends to lay out a "scroll" of rules that are very strictly enforced and if a member trips up they instantly get a warning/infraction? Or do you like to keep the rules cut and dry and be fairly relaxed about the rules?

Most of the time, the individual will just get a friendly reminder via PM whenever they break a rule for the first time.

All I ask from my members is to remain human.
We don't have any special rules forced on anyone, we have some guidelines added here and there, and if someone misses to read them they're given a friendly reminder. I don't see the point of being too strict with the members. Smile

I definitely like to have a small bullet point list of rules and then more or less enforce them only if I really need to. Otherwise I do a lot of "hand slapping". Razz

i got 8 simple rules
warning for disobeying once, temp or perm ban when secondly disobeying, depending on situation

easy , no struggles and big ass list of rules that make no sense and that nobody wants to read anyways
